FEAR MY SANDWICH ARMY
This morning when I walked into my usual breakfast place to pick up my egg whites on toast, I was treated to a singular exhibition of mass sandwich-making. Arrayed on the counter were 10 pairs of toast. On the top slice of each was slathered mayo. On the bottom half of each a squirt of ketchup was applied. On top of the mayo was placed a mound of homefried potatos. Two slices of baked ham were folded on top of the ketchup. Hot from the griddle, large vegetable omelets were dropped onto the potatos. Then hot sauce was applied to each. Ten identical, very odd sandwiches. Then they placed them in a heart-shaped box and called the delivery boy.
